Whether in the entrepreneurial world or the media, the metaverse is being announced as the digital revolution of the next decade. Literally, not a day goes by that a brand doesn’t announce their intention to invest in, and develop, their metaverse activity. Nevertheless, the French are not yet ready for the metaverse. In fact, only of French people have heard of the metaverse, and 75% of them declared having concerns about virtual universes. Finally, tt does seem surprising that so many companies are embarking on the adventure of the digital universe, when a number of them haven’t quite mastered the current digital tools. This, in spite of the fact that their impact on consumer engagement, in terms of social media, digital influence, etc has already been proven.
